That is my plan. I found out my son's graduation is that day, but I don't suspect that party will be going all night.
Oh nice! I'm gonna drive to this one so I won't have to worry about catching a train. Hoping for a Dag meetup!

Is it still pretty easy to park near UT?

You're asking like you've been gone for 100 years. LOL it's the same as it's always been.

I imagine maybe one or two songs and then go into the interview so this could be an awesome event
Never seen ST live so I’m pretty psyched

That might officially qualify you for biggest fan status.

For the love of God, time your arrival so you miss the opening act.

Duly noted. I think it's the same opening act (Adam Ezra) here. I'm glad you enjoyed GP's set. Had you ever seen him before?

Yeah, I saw him at Jammin’ Java a few years back. Last night’s show was better and he seemed much more into it.

I'm seeing them Saturday night in Jersey City. I don't remember the last time they had an opener. 100 songs or not, they've been playing 2 1/2 hours on a typical night. I usually run out of steam around 2 hours, but we'll see how I do Saturday.

CORRECTION - past 3 months.

The kicker is that they are really tight and focused. I don't think there were more than a few seconds between most of the songs. That said, Bob does have a cooler full of booze on stage. While he tends to hand out a lot of it to folks in the front row, he was still showing the effects towards the end of the set.
drew wrote:It's amazing they can still keep up that pace. Out of the maybe 10 times I've seen GBV thay were usually great. One show at Warsaw we left after 2 hours because they progressively got too wasted, another there we left after 1 hour because they came out already too fucked up to play well and Bob was super-belligerent.
