Woo-hoo Tom & I decided that if Dr. Strange didn't want to put them out because our favorite Doctor Bill thinks that GI fans would be disappointed by them (and Tom states, "Disappointment is my middle name so....") - here they are from the long out of print Comps. Also try to disregard the tiny mistake that my favorite Gee-Eye fact checker, Geoff happen to catch: Should read "Bouncing Babies" not "Bounding". Tom shall fix very soon.

One last note: Tom told me he actually sent our rendition of The Seeds song to Sky Saxon but the frontman with the "greatest snotty voice in Psychedelia" had no clue it was one of his. Surprise - KIM FOWLEY WROTE IT. Pre-threatening danny, of course.

I haven't heard the Seeds cover, but "Dead Dog" is a classic. What true GI fan would be disappointed with that song?

I think I knew, then forgot, that Tom put all those GI shows up, but I'm going to grab a couple of them once I look at the set lists/line ups. I want to grab a Joyride one and then a GI5 one (Finale and other official live releases cover other eras pretty well). Impressive that Tom recorded as many shows as he did.

I dig GI. I was just listening to crash and legless this morning. It was on as I got out of the shower doing sweet karate air kicks in my robe as I sang the words I knew and made noises for the words I didnt. But since there are only a very few DC bands that live up to the hype of that scene, GI is definitely one of them. I've always loved that band.
