Went on a little vacation to SD last week & got to see not only one of my favorite bands of all time but the best lineup of that awesome group!
Chris D brought out the "A Minute to Pray, A Second to die" lineup to perform not only that album but a bunch of tunes from all of their great records and Sonics & Gun Club covers too!
John Doe, Dave Alvin, Bill Bateman, Steve Berlin & DJ Bonebrake backing up Chris D was just heaven for me.
Got to see our own Aquaman for the first time in years. I loved the venue, sound was great. Opening band The Widows were very good.
The band even came in to eat in the Mex. restaurant we were eating in but I didn't go up to them, aquaman did, he's good like that.
Totally awesome show that was a great beginning to a fantastic vacation.

It's awesome when the stars align like that. I'm visiting LA and SD in mid-February. Gotta start looking at the listings.

That's great, scannest.....There are actually a bunch of good shows happeing at The Casbah in Jan. & Feb. so take a look. Great room.

Are there bonus tracks on the remastered re-issue? Not sure if it is worth upgrading my old CD.

Nope. it sounds way better than the 90's Slash cd that's for sure.
