So I guess I was on an old e-mail list of his, since it looks like his email account was hacked recently.

If only the hackers had done this a couple years earlier, I would have been able to email Ray Manzarek (his email was on the list too) and ask him about jamming with Echo & The Bunnymen. Oh well. :bag:

Yeah! Me too. I'm going to freakin' San Diego(whales vagina for those who dont speak Spanish) fer Chrissakes to see him with the Flesheaters, I don't need the show to be canceled....

..while we're on the topic, he's fantastic! D.J. allowed X to be as diverse in the same way that The Clash were with Topper Headon. Brilliant!

So much this. Very underrated drummer and in very different settings, too, whether with the original lineup of X or on the Unclogged tour when he was on vibraphone and marimba (I think) and I have one of his own recordings (he fronts a jazz combo), too. Oh and I saw him with Auntie Christ once, too. The Bo Diddley-esque beat he plays on "The Hungry Wolf" is one of the best things ever.
