why, b/c of the last album material? seems to cover all the bases pretty well, even doing the old stuff.

Nothing from the first album, which is the only one I still like.

[Mayor Bloomberg]

"Pearl to Ston" (sic) and their version of "X-Lion Tamer" are on the first album. The only first album song I'm surprised they didn't do is "Other Side". Also, getting both "Under the Glare" and "Lookin' Around" is kind of a surprise. I don't remember the Hot Bodi Gram songs at all. While I am definitely looking forward to the totally cool and totally powerful openers, I'm surprised how much I am looking forward to seeing Soulside.

Also this board is in serious need of a Black Flag thread.

EDIT: I have no idea how I logged in as Mayor Bloomberg. I'll bet he hates post-punky-new wave-funky-art-rock sound of Soulside.

that was probably the most boring and low energy show I have ever seen.

the band clearly knew their instruments and the drummer killed it, but lets be honest here. 3/4 of their setlist was complete shit. I never realized how the unenergetic the majority of their catalog was.

enjoy DC guys, at least you get Swiz and Moss Icon. Sunday is going to be a snoozer.

Me and Pilster kinda faded to the back 5 songs into the set. It was a letdown for the most part, but as TJ pointed out to me today, at least I didnt go all the way to DC to be bummed out.

It appeared as if the band could not hear their own instruments on stage. And they played too slow and out of sync.
