So what do you think of my girl Lauren's cover?

I know this was probably meant for moderator Matt since he is a big Neko Case fan as well, but I thought I'd weight in since Blacklisted is in all likelihood my favorite or most-played album of the 21st century (so far). Anyway, I thought she did a great job. I like that they kept the very dark, spooky vibe of the song (it's about a serial killer, after all), but turned it into their own version. The choir/choral-like vocals in particular were a really nice touch (almost as if Juliana Barwick or Dirty Projectors had done it) and assuming that is Lauren doing the sing, she can really sing. It really takes some chutzpah to cover one of Neko's songs (and one of her best at that) since she's such a great singer.
