This. I would rather listen to anything by these bands or any of the first 4 Metallica bands over anything by Slayer.

I'm a big fan of this album, but rarely put it on as much as I used to. It's also my favorite Slayer album.

Depending on the day of the week, I might say that these are right up there with it:

Holy Terror: mind wars
Voivod: killing technology
Kreator: pleasure to kill

I like South of Heaven more.

Overall Kreator are a better band.
