I may not agree with all of their politics, but I love me some of this style of beer.

Yes, I enjoy this as well. Old Rasputin is the only one I've drank with any type of regularity (as it is one of the more easily accessible), but I've have not been let down by this style.

Old Rasputin had a 100 rating on the shelf tag where I bought it. Very good stuff!

Oskar Blues Ten Fidy
Bourbon County (regular or coffee)
Founders IS
Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stout

Of the difficult to acquire, I love...

Firestone Walker Parabola

I am huge fan of all Brooklyn Brewery puts out and this is no exception. Not overpoweringly chocolate like many of these stouts, full of great flavor.

It's also a bargain. I usually see it for $7.99 a 4-pack. Not shabby for a tasty 10.0% abv stout.

Unfortunately, Great Divide pulled out of CT a couple of years ago. But, I can still pick up their stuff in MA. In the past few months, I've mostly seen the Oatmeal Yeti and regular Yeti.

I tend to favor stouts and porters, but a lot of imperial stouts don't do it for me -- I find them too high alcohol or too high-alcohol-sweet tasting. However, some that I've liked include:

Southern Tier Choklat Imperial Chocolate Stout
Southern Tier Warlock
Harpoon Imperial Pumpkin
(although I'm not really pumpkin beer fan)

Ah fuck it, posting in the Imperial Stout thread instead of the Running thread is gonna make me fat.

Big fan of Imperial Stouts. Some of my favorites:

Stone Russian Imperial Stout
Brooklyn Black Chocolate
Sierra Nevada Narwhal
Oskar Blues Ten Fidy
Founders Imperial Stout
Old Rasputin
Goose Island Bourbon County Stout (not sure if it is technical an imperial stout but it is fantastic)

Just tasted Samuel Smith's from England. It is like butter. Very smooth, but only 7% alcohol.

The Sixers lost by about 50 pts last nite and have not won a game all season. You don't want to follow that team. I've been suffering since the early 80s.

got hornacek for essentially nothing, it helped them get the scoring threat they needed to get to the finals twice in the jordan era. unfortunately, jordan was too good.
