I own Condensed Flesh on CD and twice on vinyl (the EP and on Sessions), and it's great, but it's no Faith/Void.

i was just listening to condensed flesh though and the lost & found cd version sounds better than the dischord reissue.

FYI: The red vinyl version of the 7" is (was?) up on eBay for like $6.00, direct from the label, I believe.

If anyone who owns a physical copy of the Lost and Found CD and doesn't mind ripping it as FLAC or WAV or AIFF, I'll happily trade a live Void show I have in any format you want. The show in question is January 22, 1982 at HB Woodlawn and my tape is either the master or a first gen copy (in which case the master is gone for good). The show runs all of 12 minutes and the sound quality is not nice...but it's Void!

Listened to CF today, and I was absolutely 100% correct. The songs that are on both the split and CF are infinitely better on the split. It's not even close. "Void" and "boring" should never be used in the same sentence, but the CF versions are indeed boring and tame compared to the split versions.

They are indeed tamer and a bit rawer, but yeah their side of the split smokes it. It's wild as all get out by comparison.

I like the demos,a lot. I also like the unreleased lp,but don't think it's amazing. Best thing they did by far though was the side of the split.

When I bought the split (I'd heard them on a comp tape I'd been given),most of the people I knew said the Void side was awful and the Faith side was great. For years the only person I knew who championed the Void side was the guy who put them on that tape.

"Get Out of My Way" and "Black, Jewish & Poor" were also recorded in the session for the split.

I love Potion for Bad Dreams. It wasn't a demo, it was recorded for T&G as an LP. I really wish it would be officially released. If it was properly mixed and mastered, I probably would like it better than the demos.

I've only ever heard a really bad bootleg CDR thing years ago. My impression was that the music and the sound quality were quite awful.

It took me a long time to warm up with it, but eventually bits started to pop into my head randomly and I couldn't remember what the fuck it was that I was constantly humming until it would dawn on me that it was some song from PFBD. I kind of love it now.
