Can't be me, I'm far more extreme than that.

Funny but I was discussing a bit of this with my housemate Aimee the other night when I told her about the recent Prince hoopla on SNL *spoiler alert* it was really terrible even for someone of Prince's stature.

Anyways, we discussed how a country as sometimes ahead of the American music curve (post-punk/shoegaze) as the UK could fall for: Samantha Fox, Spice Girls, The Happy Mondays, Charlatans UK, Chemical Brothers, and the Darkness :?: I mean they all never were anywhere as popular over on this side as they were treated in the UK. Why is that? Now, the U.S. has it's share of embarrassments foisted on us as the next big things but I'm picking on the UK right now.

Your turn, clash77 :?:

Cuz the UK's full of idiots too? ;)

No country is 'ahead' of any other musically, shit just bounces around.

Or at least it used to, now everything's in some sort of stasis.
