I rarely if ever buy these. Mostly because I don't see the point duplicating stuff on vinyl that I've already got on CD.

The embossed cover and inner printing look cool, but the glow-in-the-dark vinyl is gimmicky as shit. At least Rev warns that it won't sound as good as regular black vinyl. I guess this is targeted at the Rev completist that has to have every single pressing/color or whatever of the same album. I would've rather see them do a high quality mastering and pressing of the album for the anniversary, more along the lines of what Drastic Plastic or even MOFI would do...then I *might* buy it.

And then many remasters end up sounding worse than the originals...just louder and/or more compressed.

I don’t own it on vinyl at all. Never did. Only CD and mp3. If I was JGJR I would tell you how I bought the CD in the summer of 1996 while on vacation at the Jersey Shore with my aunt, from Tunes on the Dunes. I also bought a Tilt CD. But I’m not going to tell you that.

I had all the Descendents releases up through ALL in my teens and early 20s. I gave them all to a friend when I moved away from PA because I had them all on CD by then. I've since bought all of those vinyl records again. A few of them on New Alliance and SST.

I'm claiming a spare bedroom in our new home as my music room so I can setup my receiver, turntable, and speakers to begin listening to vinyl again.

You don't want them. The original pressings sound better.

Seriously, we should leave those new re-issues to the kids.
We all already got the originals or the re-issues from the 90s.
Listening to Punk today is like listening to Glenn Miller in 1982.

Damn right.

Well partied original with surface marks that affect play, dog-eared exterior with seam splits and spine damage?

That's us in a nutshell.
