Fire of Love! Classic. So glad they have been getting more attention lately.

I've got most of their main studio recordings except for a couple EPs and the final album. I've only gotten into them heavily in the last year or so. At any rate, lately I've been enjoying Mother Juno and Pastoral Hide & Seek as much or more than the early albums. I think those are very underrated.

Not heard anything beyond Mother Juno, but the first four are all quality. There are others of course, but I didn't want to get into live albums.

Indeed, though she was only in the band during the Death Party era IIRC.

Anyway, I am a huge fan of this band. I voted for Miami, though I love all of their albums. I agree with what patient ot said about Pastoral Hide and Seek and Divinity. Those were the first I heard and they didn't do much for me initially, but I grew to really like them after getting into their earlier albums. I got Fire of Love after that since I'd heard so much about it and ended up loving it, but it wasn't until I heard The Las Vegas Story that I really got the bug and got the rest of their back catalog, live albums, a DVD, et al. I also agree with drew. Lucky Jim is criminally overlooked and a beautiful, if very sad, finale.

The first three are great. Mother Juno is good too, but Guthrie probably wasn't the best choice for producer. I picked Fire of Love because that's the one I would (and have) recommend to anyone wanting to hear them for the first time.
