Not as good as the first two LPs, but better than the newest releases by the Buzzcocks and the Boys.

I could never get into this band, but I've only heard Pure Mania (and a cruddy sounding CD version).

Love Pure Mania, V2 is pretty good, don't know anything else by them. I'll see if I can stream that one.

JG, is your Pure Mania the budget U.S. CD? I didn't think that one sounded too bad but you might need to adjust your volume/eq to get it to sound a little better. I know that Captain Oi! did a remastered version w/ bonus tracks but I don't have that one.

Yeah me neither and yeah the one I have is indeed the budget U.S. version. I found it in a used bin in the early '00s.

Pure Mania is more a pub rock crossover album. V2 is the album to hear. You need to hear V2 before you can really pass judgement on the Vibrators.

Pure Mania always reminded me of a macho sort of power pop album.
