What's your evidence? Someone I know (and who is a good friend of someone else on this board) toured with her/them last year and said she was normal/down-to-earth, etc.
And Best Coast are great, especially from Crazy for You on. The Only Place is just as terrific IMO. I like the early singles, too, and have followed them since then but they didn't get truly great until that 1st Lp. The iTunes session they did is excellent, too.

Though I feel like lately she's toned it down and even set up a new instagram solely devoted to Seinfeld which is awesome.

"Hipster" is just one of those words that bugs me because no one quite knows what it is, yet it's used in everyday parlance as an insult like there's some clearly established definition. I don't know her and for all I know, IRL I could find her annoying (or not), but I guess this makes me glad I don't really look at their FB page (I like them, too) or her Twitter all that often.

Yeah I'm indifferent to most of the stuff she posts (just checked it out), but it is cool that Elaine holding a Budweiser is her background pic on Twitter.

Exactly! I've had a messenger bag of one sort or another since the early '00s because they are convenient (especially on a bike or riding public transportation) and (I admit) stylish and I make no apologies.

Oy, she's kind of a kook. She's getting married in October. We're not going, though because we already RSVPed for another wedding we knew about 6 months in advance. We were invited to my cousin's wedding by a Facebook post two months before the event. My aunt is upset we're not coming, but whatevs. If they had thier shit together, maybe it would be a different story.
