I'm glad I got to see the "classic lineup" several times (in 2010 and again in 2012) as previous to that, my only GBV live experience was a boring show at Pier 54 in New York back in 2004. I love Doug Gillard, but live that lineup put me to sleep (or came close to it). It wasn't until I saw the real version that they really clicked with me.
