Are GBH worth seeing these days?

Free tickets were given to me, but I'd rather save on gas/time if the show will probably be awful.

Same old really. You either like 'em or you don't. Free tickets? Fuck it.

I haven't seen them since they toured the US/Canada with the Accused ('87?). However, a friend of mine saw them a few years ago and was stoked.

There were great three years ago or so. Not a huge fan but really enjoyed them. Colin has an awesome stage presence.

They were great at Punk Rock Bowling a year or two ago.

i am guessing that is one of those bands that despite changing members, never changes the setlist or sounds much different no matter what year it is.

Probably not much but they included a few songs from their 2010 album 'Perfume and Piss' when I last saw them.

I'm not sure the band line up has changed much. I think there are at least 3 original members. And yes, they did play several songs from that 2010 album that I quite liked. They sounded great live.

Yeah, GBH has only changed drummers, and I think there has only been 4 since they started in 1981.

they just played Oakland last Sunday and my friends on Facebook were raving about them. It's take that as a yes.

last time I saw them, they were okay, but the CIRCLE JERKS blew 'em away.

Did the Bronx play that show too with GBH and the Circle Jerks?

Ended up going to the show. The particular club where it was at didn't have great sound, but the band was in good form and fairly tight. I'd definitely recommend seeing them if they roll through your town.
