We went there for a week both last year and the year before. I really wish we could go again this summer as I absolutely love it there (and so does my wife), but it's just impossible. Maybe next year, though? Where are you staying? We stayed in Dennis both times.

It's still there. We picked up the newest Mission of Burma and Patti Smith releases (oh yeah and a Decemberists double live album) there last year.

I was in Harwich. I would have made a special trip to the record store if I had known it was there. I used my Vinyl District app but I guess I needed to know the exact town. Oh well

Hmm, I just downloaded it a few weeks ago and have yet to use it, but I thought the way it worked is that it found stores within a certain mile radius, no?

You can put it in a city and it will list stuff. But since I didn't know the town, "Cape Cod" was too general

The way it works is that if you go to the "all stores" tab, it will literally list every record store that's close to where you are with the closest first. The only drawback that I can see, other than lack of being able to search, is that the first result I get is for a store that closed 3-4 years ago, yet they have it updated with one right below it (which happens to be the closest one to here) that just opened (well they moved to that location) last year. Thus, it's real scattershot like that, but still very useful. It's just that it helps to crosscheck their info.
