On vinyl and CD. I hope For How Much Longer... is up next. I have an OG American press and Japanese CD, but it would be nice to get a minty new LP from the master tapes.

Has Y gotten that kind of reissue in recent years? I'd love a vinyl copy.

There have been two recent vinyl "reissues". It's unclear if either is legit. I ordered one recently before asking whether it was legit or not after getting overly enthusiastic based on a customer review that referred to it as an original pressing. I'm reselling it on eBay when it actually gets here (ordered from the UK, so I'd lose too much in postage returning it).

Never been a massive fan, but I do enjoy them. IMHO they should reissue everything. I hate when bands with a relatively small catalog reissue some, but not all of their work.

I have the current Rhino CD of Y, played it yesterday actually.

Y has been reissued on CD many times, which makes me wonder if the band even has the rights to it, given that all their other stuff has remained out of print. It's also the only one not on Rough Trade/Y records.

Yeah, I meant a real legit from the master tapes kinda deal. I know about the CD reissues. I guess I'll have to look for an original, though they are pricey (?).

I'm surprised Rhino hasn't done it yet.
