The new record-The Man Upstairs is excellent BTW. Just listened to it last night.

I've been thinking lately that I needed to reconnect with Mr. Hitchcock. I listened to him A LOT back in the mid-late '80s, but lost track around the time Perspex Island came out. And then he seemed to start churning out so much stuff that I just shrugged my shoulders and gave up ala Bob Pollard/GBV.

I really only know his stuff from the 70s/80s. I dig him. I should check out some of the later albums he's done. Recs?

The one after Perspex Island (Respect) is a tough one that took me years to get into, but regardless he's put out lots of good stuff since then. I recommend the album this one is off of.

This. Underwater Moonlight is one of my favorite albums ever (though hopefully you have it) and for me it surpasses any solo Hitchcock (though I Often Dream of Trains is a really great album, too).

Like I said, I listened to him a LOT mid-to-late '80s. It's the stuff afterwards I'm not all that familiar with.
