What are their best albums?

I need answers somewhat fast.

Can't speak for Magazine.

If I could only have one Stranglers album, it would probably be 'Black and White'.

Stranglers - first 3 albums definitely!
Magazine - I´m a huge fan of most of their discography but I recommend you Secondhand Daylight.

Magazine's first 3 are all essential, but I lean heavily toward "Real Life", was just listening to it yesterday actually.

For the Stranglers, I highly recommend the Old Testament box. The group was kind of all over the place, and you get all their classic era material spread out over 5 CDs for about $30. Worth it for sure.

Magazine - Real Life (though Secondhand Daylight comes really close)
The Stranglers - No More Heroes

77clash, Rays and Hail was my intro to Magazine and it is great and you get the single version of "Shot by Both Sides" which is so much better than the version on Real Life.
