Big ups. Silver Screams are really quite good. Those of you who haven't bought this yet need to get your priorities straight.

They are getting pretty popular. I saw a sticker of their's on a pole in Las Vegas a few weeks ago.

This band is from Boston, MA and plays punk rock. No prefix, just punk. For the Boston connection they remind me of THE NOT a bit as they have that sound present in pretty much any U.S. band of any era that you catch playing halfway up a bill that isn’t trying to chase any particular trend. The band they mainly remind me of though is FULL FATHOM FIVE out of Iowa in the 80’s, in that there’s a melancholy to it and elements that you’d find on a Homesetead release of that time. There’s a cover of TSOL’s ‘Wash Away’ on here, which is dealt with in efficient style, and some nifty art from Chris Shary (ALL/DESCENDENTS).
