Dave Grohl hearts Lorde

Dave Grohl hearts Lorde

This isn't exactly surprising since she sang with the remaining members of Nirvana a few weeks ago, but I thought this was cool. I generally don't care for his post-Nirvana music, but I like him more and more between stuff like this (not sure I agree; I have heard "Royals" and I like it and I generally share his opinion of it compared to most other pop stuff these days) and his recent admiration of Bleeding Rainbow (a great local band who are on the equally great Kanine label)

And now scannnest will groan about how it wasn't so great back in '82 or whatever.

And Matt Pincus (bass player from the NY band JUDGE) is her publisher.

I like Royals, but the other pair of songs I heard was quite less impressive...
"Punker": Damnit, your english is confusing!
"Version Sound": Damnit, your english is amazing!
"Cischord": Damnit, my English is confusing!

This version kinda sorta sounds like a more in-tune Nico singing it. I like it on first listen.

I think she could take a big girly dump on stage while waving her dramatic arms & people would still go gaga. Seems like she's just doing her best Westerberg impression on vox so it's not like she's done anything special with her version. Prefer to see her re-work the song to make it more interesting. I ewally don't understand the hoopla over this chick.

Dave Grohl thinks bands that play one classic album all the way thru live are "presumptuous and lazy."

Yeah, he didn't quite nail it. It's simply trendy and shit.
